1. Quang Tri Ancient Citadel
A place known for the fierce 81-day battle in 1972. Today, the citadel is a special national relic, a place to commemorate heroic martyrs who sacrificed for national independence.
2. Hien Luong Bridge – Ben Hai River
Located on the 17th parallel, this was the symbol of the temporary division of the country into North and South for more than 20 years. The historical relic site at the bridge helps visitors feel the deep aspiration for peace and national reunification.
3. Vinh Moc Tunnels
A miniature underground city, demonstrating the extraordinary willpower and creativity of the local people and soldiers during the war years, sheltering thousands of people from heavy bombing.
4. Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery
The largest cemetery in Vietnam, the resting place of more than 10,000 martyrs who fought on the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. This is a destination of gratitude and education of revolutionary traditions for younger generations.
